I thought it would be cool if when you go to the running log website you could click on peoples names, and see their runing individual running log. That way you can see when they ran, how far they ran, where they ran... I just thought it would be cool. You could see exactly how you stacked up to other people and even get running suggestions on where and how to run if they fill out their log in depth enough. I emailed Mr. Kasinkas about it and he says its easily done, but the descision isn't up to him. Some people might want to keep their logs private and what not. I was wondering what ever one else thinks of this. I guess if everyone agreed with it, and Bill okayed it, we could do it. So how 'bout it guys?

That be pretty cool, It be kinda nice to know just exaclty what people are running, that way you are accountable to the whole team in a way. I'm all for it. It's ok with me if people look at what I'm running because if they don't see it on the website now, they will see it in the fall in my race times. Ya know?

I never thought about it like that Andrew, but yea, it makes sense that way too. What do you other guys think? I think I'll bring it up with Bill next time I see him.

I think it might be a better idea to let people have the option to make their log page public. Some people do like to keep their logs private, and seeing as we're all putting our miles in there, its a good idea to let them keep it private if they wish.

That's such a good point. if you make these things public I think it would make everyone feel more accountable for what their doing, like that if they don't run there letting their team down. If you could see other people's logs it would step up the accountability factor a lot ya know? Also a person could find a typo in someone's reports, such as putting in 17 miles when you only ran 7 or a completely unreasonable time.

I think there should be some type of poll on the forum...

One thing about having unrealistic times, for races/AT workouts you can't really put in a correct time b/c of the fact that you run the warm up/cool down/race all at different times and paces so I kind of just enter in crazy times since it doesn't affect the letter points... how do u enter your times for those?

I figured it out, Just let everyone be able to see everyone else's totals, not in depth in every run that they did, or how fast they did it, but just their total.

yea that would work to keep you motivated w/o worrying about entering the correct times, b/c I know that sometimes I just run a distance and forget to time myself so I just guess

yea that would be a nice option, now all you have to do is email mr kasinkas and as him to look at our forum, see the response to how many people are wanting this feature and see if he will set something up.....
