What do you guys think will be the best distance times this year in track? Here's my predictions:
800: 1. Andrew Van Benschoten:1:58.1 2. Ben Hackbart: 2:01.4 3. Josh Gerber: 2:04.7
1600:
1.Ben Hackbart: 4:28.9 2.Andrew Van Benschoten: 4:29.8 3.Josh Gerber: 4:31.6
3200:
1.Josh Gerber: 9:45.5 2.Jeff Pedersen: 9:49.3 3.Andrew Van Benschoten: 9:54.2
I know it seems weird to have numbers, but I'm a numbers guy. Anyway, let me know what you think.

Yes, I am high on the lists, but remember my times from last season (or, to put it in perspective, look at Josh's Top 10 returning athletes in each event on wayzatatrack.com). I just hope the trend continues..... ;D. And I suppose Hackbart hasn't had the best winter training this year (due to injuries), but he didn't do a huge amount last year (Ben, if you did, feel free to yell me for saying that ) and he still did awesome. And yes, I am having LOADS of fun at school, and I hope you are too.

I have one to add, it was sparked by my friends "falling in a puddle" memory. Anyone remember footlocker when I praticlly dove into that mud puddle at the end of the warmup?

Let your legs do the talking when we get to the end of track.

Brian, I'm not trying to sound arrogant here; I simply want to know how people think track will go.

How are you getting these numbers Andrew? And aren't you leaving out some key runners like Mason and Rob and others who were on varsity this fall?

ok, let's forget about the numbers (in retrospect, it was a bad idea to write them). just tell me how you guys think we'll do this track season.

I'm sorry; I wrote that last post after getting home from a poor calc class (not a good situation). Let me explain: those times were what I thought were going to be our top times in the 800, 1600, and 3200. Please don't read too much into them. And to those who I didn't put in the list (I know there were many).....I'm sorry . But anyway, I've personally been running about 50 miles a week, and I think the following times are legit possibilities: 800: 1:58 1600: 4:29 3200:9:54 And in answer to your question Jon, I'm simply predicting those times. And as far as the times from Cross Country, XC times don't translate well to track.

Yes, Brian, you made me cry. I'm going back to the dinner table to finish my learning. BTW Sean, I think you've got your numbers wrong. I've got the best mile time on the team ;D Though breaking 6 min doesn't sound too bad.

dont worry andrew, sean is just jealous of our abilities to break 5min in the mile. he is giving up on track to sail...he is looking for some seamen to operate his vessel.
