yes jewish people get presents (sp?)
i got my wonderful flat screen monitor =)
i asked my friend david the same question you did lauren "did you get what you wished for" and a little bit of me died. it just kinda felt wrong asking if you got presants wrather than asking if you had fun or if you enjoyed the company you surrounded yourself with etc.
just random thoughts on top of my head =)

Well it's better than "WHAT'D YOU GET!?" Yeah, it is a little sad though. It is sad that we justify how it went by "get what you want?" Today I realized that I kinnda take for granted a few things. Education, maturity, food, and a roof over my head, since I volunteered a while at the Rock Bottom Brewery. Some of the guys were just happy with something on their plate and some new clothes and shoes. Give you something to sprint back and forth in the halls, and sweat to see some grateful people... for the most part. I'm just glad I got what I wanted, some snow . To all a merry chrismahanakwanza, for the gerber in all of us.

yeah you have a good point... it reminds me of the value packet things we did in health class... i think all of us take a lot for granted. i dunno bout all of you, but i had a fun xmas, i stayed at home and hung out with evan all day and played games w/ my family. haven't done that in a loooonnngggg time.
last week i volunteered at the campus kitchen at augsburg college (it was for kaitlyn silbaugh's church) and we prepared a xmas meal for people and it just felt really good to be doing something helpful like that. i like volunteer work, i think i need to find some more of it.

Yeah, we learn absolutly nothing in health. I hate it, it is a waste of a block. And I cant stand listening to Mrs. Larson, she always sounds like she's crying. But, it is an easy A, which is nice.

I regret to inform you andrew that it is not. It is like a black hole, it sucks the very life from you. You are so bored in that class that you dont know what to do and you go crazy. Be thankful that you don't have to take it.
