I am posting this for two reasons...
1) Felt like talking on a different board than just the general for once
2) The teacher was being even more arrogant than usual today
A test that we recently took and got back today had this question on it:
T or F It is necessary to have virus-scanning software to run a computer
Though it is highly suggested, it is obviously not necessary. When I am unfortunate enough to be forced to use windows, I still know how to manually delete spyware that gets itself onto the computer somehow. When I explained this to her, she said "Well you are preforming the basic functions of a virus-scanning software by yourself" still stuck on her opinion. Well over half the class marked false, and when they argued with the teacher, she would not for a second see it from a different point of view.
I don't know why I am posting this, but I am

Your teacher is plain out wrong if she feels it is necessary to have virus-scanning software to run a computer.
