Allright. So next year I wanna take A.P. Calc A and B along with Comp Sci. Do you think I can pull it off? The only other semi-hard class i'll take is chem x. Everything else will be pretty easy. Some language stuff, grammer and usage, just regular american history. A.P. calc and Comp Sci next year is because my senior year i wanna do A.P. Physics. I heard that was the hardest class in the school. I don't wanna have to diffcult of a Senior year. Could I get your guy's thoughts and/or advice?

if those are your only time intensive classes you should be fine. I did fine with having phsyics and compsci together. but it really depends, are you a math person? compsci is just math reasoning although sometimes tricky math reasoning.

Have any of you guys taken AP biology or human anatomy? If so, how are they?

Kurits
don't worry that shouldn't be hard at all
however, you may not get into Comp Sci, since you won't be a senior, Hwa-sheng was the only non senior in the class even though many juniors and sophmores did sign up.
I took 4 APs i'm sick of it now, but its actually kinda easier imho, cuz all you do is learn, do hwk, and take test.

I have math 4x with Mr. Killkelly right now. I'm hoping to make a good impression on him. I could always take comp sci my senior year too. Its one of those classes where he'd assign homework and i'd be like "This is too fun too be homework." I'll porbably get into A.P. Clac though, right?

Yea, so this is what it is looking like for me:
American Literature and Humanities 2 terms United States History 2 terms Cisco Networking 3 2 terms A.P. Calc A 2 terms A.P. Calc B 2 terms A.P. Comp Sci 2 terms Chemistry X 2 terms Spanish 3X 2 terms
Does this sound doable? Should I maybe take A.P. Calc A this year and A.P. Calc B next year?

I've heard that it is not a good idea to take A and B calc in different years.

Wheres AP american, and the odds of you gettin comp sci has gotta be like 10%, 2ndly you don't get hwk, and also don't forget you have to take a communications in senior year just in case u might want to take humaities then

Allright, new revised schedual: United states History (don't want all the hmwk with A.P.) Cisco Networking 3 A.P. Calc A A.P. Calc B Grammar and Usage Upper Level Composition Chemistry X Spanish 3X Astronomy
Does that look good? I'll probably just go with A.P. Comp Sci and A.P. Phyiscs my Senior year. Shouldn't be impossible. Then I'll probably also take American Literature and Humanities my Senior Year. I wanna take Grammar this year because I heard it really helps you with the ACTs. I deffiently wanna take American Lit because those are the books colleges wanna see that you have read, right? So What do you guys think?

I had astronomy first semester, it is a good class. You will 90% of the time get no homework but be prepared for a bunch of wierd twists and turns. Take it, youll like it.

I intend to major in Astorphyisics in college. I love Astronomy, the universe, and just how everything works on such a grand scale as the universe. Do you guys every touch on stringy theory or quatum loop gravity in that class? Is it all just star gazing? Any physics involved?

Today I got a note during 4th block "inviting" me to take AP Lit. Have any of you guys taken it, and if so, how did you like it?

Jon, In answer to your question about AP Bio, I took it and I personally think it's the best AP class you can take. If you want to score high, though, it's a lot of work (though not an insane amount). I'd say you should take it, but only if you like, nay, love science. And as far as AP Lit, I'm currently taking that this year through Stanford University. It's a lot of summarizing papers the first part, then you go in to an argumentative phase (aka you argue your position on something) afterwards. Finally, you prepare for the test. Though that's just what I'm doing; I have no idea what Wayzata does. BTW, does anyone know when the deadline is to register for taking AP tests at Wayzata?
