Very true Brian, sad and very true I think you might see a few quotes here that fit "To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift." "(whining, most likely Moline)...Suck it up, you're a cross country runner..." I'm sure you can see other fit. Post them if you please, I'm off for now.

I talked to porter the other day. He said his best was 4:56, but he wasn't quite sure. Although he did bring up a good point, you will enjoy something more if you have to work at it than if it is just natural talent. I agree that the senior class has alot of talent but they didn't come out for the sport. But there is one person i can think of that came out for xc after way too many years of football, that had/has alot of natural talent, yet didn't train enough. Although i guess i can't be complaining about others b/c i know i haven't train enough either.
